EARTH IS THE ONLY LIVING PLANET, LET US MAKE IT BETTER, FOR ALL LIFE.

Hello friend,
Welcome to my website.
Thank you for your visit, by intent or by chance.
I believe in climate change, having seen and experienced its adverse effects during my lifetime. So, PLANET@PEACE is launched with a mission to promote green and clean technologies, for a peaceful planet.
The objective is to focus on the manufacturing sector in the United States, mainly food, packaging and bio products, by promoting solutions with lower power consumption, lower dependence on fossil materials, lower emissions at all stages of production and distribution, starting with supply chain until the product’s end of life. Most of the technologies are of European origin and exist.

ABOUT ME AND ENVIRONMENT

I am Bernard D’Lima, 71, an Indian, biologist (postgraduate of Mysore University, India, 1975), freelancer most of my career, was based 40+ years in Gulf countries, mostly in Dubai, active in promoting projects for food and packaging. Currently, I am based in McKinney, TX, USA.
My last employment, as biologist, was in early 1980s, for then the world’s leading environmental consultancy, Los Angeles based DAMES & MOORE, on environmental baseline studies projects in Kuwait and UAE. This opportunity led me to be a keen observer of unfavorable environmental changes, currently unstoppable and threatening life on the planet.
As a freelancer, involved in multidisciplinary projects, I was fortunate to regularly promote environmentally friendly solutions to my clients and now, at the last lap of my dash, I desire to pass clean manufacturing technologies, to a few of younger generations, through PLANET@PEACE.

TESTIMONIAL

October 4, 2024
As manager of major fisheries Oceanographic Baseline Studies in Kuwait and Al Ruwais (United Arab Emirates) in 1982-85, by Dames & Moore, I hired Bernard D’Lima for fisheries assistant and bacteriologist positions. He excelled in those roles, both in the field and in the laboratory, and become one of the most knowledgeable observers in fish identification in Kuwait. I found him to be very intelligent and a hard worker who studied hard to improve his abilities, knowledge, and skills. Moreover, he was very pleasant to work with, despite challenging physical conditions in the field.
